For every doctoral candidate who wants to join ASCI, an individual education plan is drawn up upon being admitted. The major part of the education plan comprises of courses. More information on the components of the individual education plan can be found in the ASCI Regulations (articles 4 and 5).

While planning your courses please be aware that almost every course is given every two years! Also check the External Courses page for courses by other research schools, courses or summer/winter schools recommended by the ASCI Education Committee who are also admissible for ASCI PhD students.

PhD students of research schools: ASCI, DISC, ImagO, IPA, OzsL and SIKS can take part of the regular ASCI courses free of charge. The course fee for other PhD students amounts to €500. The course fee for non-PhD students amounts to €1200.
